Pat Gross
Director
Pat Gross is chairman of The Lovell Group, a business and technology advisory and investment firm. Previously, he spent three decades with American Management Systems, Inc. (AMS), which he co-founded in 1970 and grew to more than $1 billion in revenue and 7,000 professionals.
He is currently a director of multiple public and private companies: Capital One, Rosetta Stone, Career Education Corporation, Taleo, Sarnoff Corporation, Development Alternatives, Liquidity Services and Mobius Management Systems.
Pat has served as a director/trustee/board officer of several educational institutions, hospitals/health care organizations, and economics and public policy organizations. He is a member of the Council on Foreign Relations, the International Institute for Strategic Studies and the Economic Club of Washington, D.C.
Jeremy Verba

Jeremy Verba is a senior executive with leadership experience in internet businesses, primarily consumer products and services. Most recently, Mr. Verba was the CEO of eHarmony, Inc., overseeing the number one compatibility-based relationship site in the world. The company operated or controlled businesses in 18 countries on four continents and the company's flagship property, eHarmony.com, was responsible for approximately 5% of all new US marriages. Previous to eHarmony, Mr. Verba was the founder and GM of the Treasure Isle studio at Zynga – when launched, it was the fastest growing game ever released on Facebook.
Mr. Verba's career encompasses roles as the number one or two executive in private entities, public companies and divisions of large companies in the $10-$250 million revenue range. His career focus has been on online services, communications, media and entertainment. Mr. Verba is a creative leader with a dynamic and energetic personality. He sits on several boards, is an active angel investor and loves skiing and playing hockey.
Rob Duboff

Rob Duboff is CEO and a founder of HawkPartners, a management and marketing consultancy. Rob has consulted leading companies across virtually all industries during his 30-year career. From 1999 to 2001, Rob served as Ernst & Young's Chief Marketing Officer with responsibility for all marketing activities of the $4 billion enterprise. Prior to that, Rob was a vice president and board member of Mercer Management Consulting. During his 20 years with Mercer, Rob helped launch Mercer's marketing and market research practice, and led this unit for more than a decade.
Rob co-authored the book, Market Research Matters (Wiley, 2000) and wrote ROI for Marketing: Balancing Accountability with Long-Term Needs for the ANA in 2007. He has also written for such publications as Harvard Business Review, Marketing Management, The Advertiser, Across the Board, and Leadership & Strategy. He previously chaired the AMA's Marketing Strategy Conference. Rob is a past chair of the Board of Directors for the Advertising Research Foundation. He is an experienced moderator and teacher who has taught at MIT's Sloan School, Boston University, Northeastern and Boston College.
Stuart Agres, Ph.D.

Stuart Agres runs Adduce International Corporation, a marketing and brand consultancy. From 1993 to 2002, he served as Director of Corporate Research for the Young & Rubicam company (Y&R), a leading advertising agency. In this capacity he designed, launched and ran BrandAsset Valuator, a comprehensive worldwide study of brands.
Prior to joining Y&R, he held senior positions at Adolph Coors Company, Leo Burnett Advertising and the Interpublic Group.
Stuart has served on the Board of Directors of the New York Chapter of the American Marketing Association, the Advertising Research Foundation and as a Trustee for the Marketing Science Institute. He is an active member of the American Psychological Association and has been a frequent lecturer at universities and professional association meetings and is co-author of the text Emotion in Advertising: Theoretical and Practical Explorations.
Rich Sorota

Rich Sorota is an experienced Fortune 1000 marketing leader. Currently, he serves as the chief marketing officer and general manager of Bissel, the $2 billion home products company. Previously, he served as president of Harman International, the consumer electronics leader, from 2008 to 2009. Between 2004 and 2008, Rich was senior vice president, general manager and chief marketing officer of The Scotts Company, the leading provider of lawn and gardening products, where he ran business units with combined revenue of $1.9 billion. Between 1997 and 2004, Rich was senior vice president and chief marketing officer of the $400M Oral Healthcare business of Philips Electronics. Between 1990 and 1997, Rich was a brand manager at Proctor & Gamble, focusing on leading consumer brands Old Spice Deodorant, Pert Plus Shampoo and Max Factor Cosmetics.
Jay McGonigle

Jay McGonigle is the former chairman of the board and chief executive officer of The Corporate Executive Board Company ("CEB"), the leading provider of best practices research and consultation. Jay is an expert in building and growing information businesses. He served as a director and the non-executive chairman of the board of CEB from July 2005 to January 2008. From July 1998 to July 2005, Jay served as CEB’s chief executive officer. Prior to joining CEB in 1995, Jay was a consultant at McKinsey & Company.
Chris Baker

Chris Baker is a veteran software entrepreneur, executive and angel investor. Between 2005 and 2008, Chris served as president of Group 1 Software, a leading provider of software solutions for data quality, customer communication and direct marketing. Under his leadership, Group 1’s revenue grew substantially, to more than $250 million. Between 2002 and 2005, Chris was vice president of U.S. sales for Pitney Bowes. Earlier in his career, Chris founded and built MailCode into a leading provider of technology solutions for mail processing via bar coding and optical character reading. Chris sold MailCode to Pitney Bowes in 2001.
Anna Zornosa

Anna Zornosa is an Internet veteran specializing in start-up companies and turn-arounds. Most recently she was General Manager of the Dealix Corporation, a division of the Cobalt Group, which was acquired by ADP Corp in August 2010. Her career has included positions at Yahoo! (VP and General Manager), Knight Ridder Digital (Chief Marketing Officer) and Topica, Inc. (CEO).
Through her advisory board work, Anna’s deep functional expertise in marketing, business development and sales has contributed to the success of startups including Affinity Labs (purchased by Monster.com in 2007) and Mailblocks (purchased by AOL in 2005). She is currently a member of the advisory boards of Glam.com, ChloeandIsabel.com, and Tumri, Inc. She has also been a Director of Topica, Inc. and the Online Publishers’ Association.
In 2010, Anna was named by AutomotiveNews as one of the top Women in Automotive, and by the Silicon Valley Business Journal as one of the most influential women in Silicon Valley.
Jeff Greenberg

Jeff currently runs his own consulting firm, assisting start-up and mid-sized companies develop their strategic positioning, raise funds, and create sales and business development traction. Most recently, Jeff was President at MarketTools, and before that CEO at Vividence and ShoppingList. The bulk of Jeff’s career was at Information Resources (IRI), which he joined as a startup and left as President of a $500mm company. Jeff’s career has been marked by leading companies to achieve dramatic growth. He has consulted with over 150 companies, as an expert in understanding consumer behavior, and improving marketing and sales plans.
David Wu

David is an active angel investor and entrepreneur. He is a member of the Board of Directors at Line2 and SeatMe, and an advisor to InDinero, WePay, Scribd, and Proformative. He has invested in over a dozen Internet startups, including Practice Fusion, Offermatic, Sociable Labs, Beautylish, Taulia, and Everloop, and his investments have gone on to raise over $75M of capital from ventures firms including KPBC, Accel, Founders Fund, Battery, and Matrix Ventures. He also serves as the Internet Committee Chair on the deal screening committee for the Band of Angels, Silicon Valley’s oldest seed funding organization, and was an Executive-in-Residence at Redpoint Ventures.
Previously, David worked at Intuit (NASDAQ:INTU), where he was a Vice President in their Small Business Group. He led product management, marketing, experience design, and engineering and has managed a variety of businesses including QuickBooks Online, Intuit.com, and Intuit Websites, during his tenure at the company. David joined Intuit in December 2007 as part of the company’s acquisition of Homestead Technologies Inc. for $170M, where he was the Chief Product Officer, COO, and CFO since 1997.
