Senior Data Analyst

Analysts play critical roles at Motista. The Analysts works with Motista’s unique data and helps to derive findings and insights that Fortune 500 clients rely upon in making critical business decisions. This position takes ownership for important analytical projects and drives them to completion.

Responsibilities

  • Apply quantitative analyses to Motista’s consumer emotion data to derive insights and findings for Fortune 500 clients
  • Conduct a range of statistical analyses, to provide valuable data-driven insights for client deliverables
  • Build visual analytics for client deliverables
  • Work closer with team to build presentations, reports and scorecards for clients
  • Manage and organize analytical portions of projects
  • Conduct analyses to support internal operations and projects
  • Mentor and manage junior Analysts

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional work experience as an Analyst or similar
  • Strong knowledge of a statistical software package, including Syntax skills (preferably SPSS)
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet changing deadlines and priorities on multiple simultaneous projects
  • Self-directed professional who enjoys rolling up their sleeves and problem-solving
  • Extraordinary attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills (e.g. explain complex analyses in a way that easy for internal/client teams to understand)
  • Bachelors degree in math, statistics or related quantitative field
